# Rum Minting $RUM is a token reward for providing LP. $RUM will be exchangeable for exclusive rewards and the first reward for $RUM holders is being able to use their $RUM to mint a Gen 1 Pirate.\ \ The mint will open on the 8th of November and will run for until minted out. The cost of a Gen 1 Pirate is 200 RUM. $RUM tokens are finite and all will be burned at mint. After the $RUM mint has ended more tokens will be provided to the DEX partners to incentivize LP. ### Future Rewards To incentivize players to provide LP long-term, we will continue to provide exclusive rewards only purchasable with $RUM. For example, we'll allow players to spend their $RUM tokens to upgrade their room at the inn to a Supreme Room. This will be the most spacious room at the inn and will allow for the most customisation. Exclusive land plots as well as cosmetics for ships, land décor and tavern minigames are also planned.
